Donkervoort P24 RS: An Analog Counterpunch in a Digital World
Reveal Date: January 24, 2026
In a world where cars are becoming computers on wheels, disconnected and filtered, Dutch automaker Donkervoort is preparing to land the ultimate blow. Meet the P24 RS: the new supercar promising a driving experience of pure “sensory saturation.”
Here’s everything we know about the new machine set to be officially unveiled in January.
New Heart, New Body, Same Soul
The P24 RS is the successor to the F22, but it represents a massive technological leap. CEO Denis Donkervoort describes the car as “a direct counterpunch to a homogenized and computerized automotive world.” The car doesn’t isolate the driver from the road - it exposes them to it.
The Raw (and Excitement-Soaked) Numbers
The P24 RS specs are nothing short of stunning for a featherweight car:
- Engine: Forget the familiar Audi engines. The P24 RS is equipped with a brand-new 3.5-liter V6.
- Power: 600 hp.
- Weight: Just 780 kg.
- Performance: 0-200 km/h in 7.4 seconds.
- Grip: 2.3G of lateral acceleration in corners.
Power To Choose
One of the most interesting innovations is the PTC system. Donkervoort developed engine management software that allows the driver to choose power output in real-time: 400, 500, or 600 hp, depending on road conditions or mood. The engine delivers a “mountain” of torque - 800Nm at 4500 RPM.
Breakthrough Technology
Despite the “pure” approach, the P24 RS is packed with advanced technology designed to save weight and improve performance:
- 3D-printed intercoolers: In partnership with Conflux, the car is equipped with printed intercoolers weighing just 1.4 kg each (compared to about 16 kg in traditional systems). This is Formula 1 technology in a road car.
- Carbon chassis: Using Ex-Core technology and a unified Fort-Ex carbon fiber chassis providing enhanced rigidity and safety.
- Swing-out headlights: New design featuring front headlights that swing outward, a unique design element emphasizing the open wheel structure.
The Legacy of the “RS” Name
The P24 name honors Phébe, Denis Donkervoort’s second daughter born in 2024. But the RS suffix is what matters here. In Donkervoort’s history, the RS badge is reserved for record-breaking cars. The previous model bearing the name, the D8 270 RS, broke the production car record at the Nürburgring in 2006. The hints are clear: the P24 RS is designed to “break records” again.
When and How Much?
The global reveal will take place on January 24, 2026. The starting price is €298,500 (before taxes and options), and current waiting time for delivery is about 18 months.
This isn’t just a car, it’s a motorized work of art customized for each driver (“Crafted, not built”). Will it manage to beat the supercar giants on their home turf? We’ll have to wait until January to find out.
